This story will not be linear.  Like a bungee cord it will have a linear dimension but will twist and turn, stretch and contract, go one way, then another, present, backward, and forward.  This bun-guy cord is simultaneously internal and our connection to you, our readers.  It is reporting, practical, imaginary, perhaps philosophical, and always exploratory.  So, opinions are ideas more than hard statements and facts are as certain as is any estimation.

In Media Res: like everything else, in the middle of things.  Among the other things that this will not be is chronological.  It is neither a diary nor a journal, not exactly anyway.  In not being something, something it will be is a distraction from everything (I hope) that is not literally present right here and now.  So, the political circus, social retrogression, and economic bazaar dominating things where you are, aren’t here—unless you bait me into it….. (which most of you know is not that hard anyway).
