150 miles of wilderness with no other road but the one we were on…… Wind, water, sand blasting all the shapes one can imagine….. all of the geologic forces at work in one place creating an astounding, forbidding, foreboding, beautiful attraction (an “attractive nuisance” in the law) drawing you closer with the foreign beauty while warning you that it is unforgiving. In the background at about 9 seconds you can hear Bunny whispering “condors” as they flew overhead….. we saw about 25 in this stretch of road. Last month they had record 100 year floods that washed out major sections of the road. This out of focus video gives you some idea…..
