The incredible ampitheater in Nimes, France, which had a population of about 60,000 when this colesseum would seat most of the whole population in the 1st century AD. In the 1800s it was “modernized” for bull fights. Today it has a removeable cover and heating system. When we were there it looked like they were setting up for a rock concert that night.
