A face only its mother could love….. a female about 7 feet long and about 5 feet from our boat.

A magnificent iguana hanging about 5 feet over the river and about 10 feet above the water. Is it warming in the sun and waiting for dark to gather some bird eggs?

A hawk looking for prey.
A “Roadside Hawk” eating a live snake. You can see that the snake has wrapped itself around the tree limb in a futile effort. When the hawk flew over us, the snake was wriggling fiercely to be free. Oh well, eat or be eaten.
The Giant River Otters (rare and endangered) are indeed giants. Intently curious, they swam out to meet us wailing in the most eerie sort of way.
