People still use the cave dwellings for living and for keeping their sheep and goats–as they have for centuries. This one near Sobesos.

The Sultan’s Palace on the Bosphorous River–old meets new. Ataturk also died here.
The huge fort (Rumeli Castle) built by Sultan Mehmed for the sole purpose of retaking Constantinople (the name during the Christian occupation of Istanbul).
Has the Japanese Coast Guard gone a little off course and landed on the Bosphorous River in Istanbul?
