Part of the wonder of it all is that these masterpieces are just everywhere, peeking up through the vegetation… after a century of restoration, how much more is there to this jigsaw puzzle?
Another amazing amphitheater….. they knew how to build them, the people loved them, and they built them everywhere….. but not always this large….

Leaving Kas (small seaside port) for a wonderful East Mediterranean day cruise with several swims, hikes, etc.
On top of this small island is an ancient Roman fort with a very small fishing harbor at the base….. stopped here for lunch and hikes…..
