We counted 15 chicks racing around the adults…… can you see them?

Lots of baboons and many with young taking a ride with mom……

All critters, great and small…… a field mouse visited us while we were waiting for the wildebeest to cross at the Mara River….

When we first saw these three, they were quietly lying in the shade of a large acacia tree……

He’s old enough to be building his own pride….. but not old enough…..

And then HE decided to teach her something that escapes us……

The Hartebeest…. another of the seemingly endless varieties of antelope.

The tortoise….. compare to the earlier ones….. it IS actually quite different, such as larger shell, higher ridges, and darker in color.

An elephant skeleton….. with the tusks removed by the Park rangers as part of their efforts to end the trafficking in ivory.
