We went to the ONLY cable car in Ireland at Dursey Island at the tip of the Ring of Beara. Fortunately it was too windy for the cable car to cross. Check out the construction of the towers… not very secure and not in very good condition. It didn’t help that broken cables were lying on the ground in the foreground….. Image Reply

Every two minutes offers photogenic opportunities. Camera buffs, here is your creative opportunity! The Ring of Kerry was beautiful. The Ring of Beara, well, you be the judge…… certainly a different experience because the roads are so narrow there are no tour buses—or any other traffic like there were on the Ring of Kerry.
