The view from our dining table in the camp “lounge”…. No walls, wildlife all around. The few times it rained, it added to the romantic feel…. And the food was terrific….

Our tent in the Maasi Mara…. Home sweet, home. Literally we could hear elephants next to the tent at night and several nights we could hear lions nearby. There is no fence. We were truly in the wild wilderness. Beautiful, serene, fun, luxurious, and we did actually sleep well.

Morning coffee brought to our tent….. shortly thereafter we went on a safari where we came upon an amazing experience with some cheetahs…. Stay tuned!

While mom strikes a classic pose, the kits emerge from the long grass. A very few seconds later mom saw, pursued, and caught lunch…. It was simply a blur of motion.
