The pace of the herd picks up dramatically as they approach the swamp after a night in the very dry (and essentially food-less) high ground…. They are hungry and, more than that, they are thirsty. They ate, bathed, drank, and went about 6 feet deep in the water….. Image Reply
These huge feet supporting this huge body make almost no sound as they walk. At night when they walk around our tent, we cannot hear their feet–we hear their breathing!!! Image Reply
